Keswick Methodist Church

We would like to thank everyone who contributed in any way, to make the Christmas Tree Festival such a wonderful event. Our many visitors were very complimentary about all the trees and Nativity scenes. It was good to have such a variety of groups involved, some who had never been into our church before. They had all given a lot of thought to representing their group in an interesting, imaginative and decorative way. The overall result was a stunning and atmospheric display. The winner of the “Favourite Tree” competition was the Mother’s Union Tree, decorated with hand-knitted baby clothes. A close second was the Keswick Day Nursery’s Bird Tree. Donations amounted to a magnificent total of £500 for Action for Children.
